Flipkart Billion Capture+ goes on sale in India: Price start from Rs. 10,999: specifications, features, launch offers and more



Flipkart-owned smartphone brand Billion launched first smartphone in India in last week, the Billion Capture+ is going up for sale today for the first time. The Billion Capture+ has been launched in two variants – 32GB storage with 3GB RAM priced at Rs 10,999, and 64GB storage with 4GB RAM priced at Rs 12,999. The Billion Capture+ highlight features are dual rear camera, USB Type-C port and comes with Smartron's tronX AI-based Internet of Things platform as well as unlimited free cloud storage. 

As for launch offers, Flipkart is providing customers 10 percent instant discount on purchase via HDFC debit or credit card. Purchase via Axis Bank Buzz credit card will make a customer eligible for 5 percent off. It is giving additional up to Rs. 12,000 discount on exchange of your old smartphone, No Cost EMIs, extra 20 percent off on your next purchase of billion product, extra Rs. 200 off on Flipkart Smartbuy Bluetooth Speaker, get three months of free SonyLIV Premium membership, get 10-ride Ola Share Pass worth Rs. 249 and Idea Cellular to offer an additional 60GB of free data free for prepaid users, when the network is used in the Billion Capture+ smartphones. Additionally, Flipkart, for the first time has also talked about its after-sales services. The company said that it has over 158 repair service network in 135 cities in India. The Billion Capture+ smartphone will be supported by the pan India service network of F1 Info Solutions, which is now owned by Flipkart.

It features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D glass on top and pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. The smartphone supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The company collaboration with Smartron for unlimited free cloud storage.

There are two 13-megapixel dual rear cameras at the back with dual flash, additional features such as super night mode and Portrait Mode. The front camera has an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, and 1.12-micron pixels. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,500mAh battery with Quick Charge, which the company claims will last up to two days.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone features 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, USB Type-C port, dual-SIM card slots, GPS, WiFi and fingerprint sensor at the back. Sensors on board include Gravity, Proximity, Light, Gyroscope and Hall Sensor. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with a promise of no bloatware and an upgrade to Android Oreo very soon.
